WebOn my card without a fan in super power hungry games I can hit 102-104 which causes the fan to ramp higher than I'd like. Hopefully just putting a 120mm fan on the backplate (ordered one of the noctua 15mm ones) will drop it to be at least 100 and under when gaming, which I hear is comparable to just repadding the back of the card. I have them both in a Phanteks Enthoo Pro II and a few of the 2000 rpm Noctua industrial fans combined with some other case fans… they just don’t get much cooler in room temperature. I get 100-101 mh/s on high opt with the 3080 and 119-121 mh/s on high opt with the 3090. Used 92mm fans ziptied to the heatsink. The fan header on the GPU is not your standard 3/4 pin so you'd need a separate splitter cable to have the GPU power the fans.
