WebGoing to retire my 2013 Dell laptop and activate the $188 Thinkpad P50 I got over the winter. Fresh Win10 installed. Since no native HDMI port, I already got a Thunderbird to HDMI adapter so I can project to a large presentation screen I noticed I could not press ALT-F4 to close windows. F4 button is mic mute toggle. WebLots of complaints on different platforms, but no solution to end it all. Tried dozens of drivers and settings, but none of them helped. In the end I ended up using Equalizer APO to boost mic as a workaround. It worked well in all the applications.
